Ubajara National Park - Bica do Ipu
- Ubajara, CE
The 90 meter waterfall (300 feet) is rather difficult to access. Note: to ascend the uphill trail may require special equipment. Capuchin monkeys may be spotted here as well as foxes and several species of colorful birds. The first 10 meters you can rappel supported by the wall; the rest of the way down is negative rappleing (no supports whatsoever). Camping is permitted on the lookout above, from which we have breathtaking views of the entire region.

Beginners may descend 40 meters, while advanced rappelers go the futher 90 meters to the base (there are 3 transpositions of your anchoring on this drop). From here you have almost a complete overview over the expanse of the Vale dos Órfãos (Valley of the Orphans). Minimum four participants.
