Saco da Cherne is a shallow diving location. This site is only 6 to 10 meters deep but the bottom is covered by corals and around the rock formations, barracudas are frequent visitors.

Azul Cave - Arraial do Cabo, RJ

Azul Cave is one of the most favorite diving spots in the region. This cave's water temperature is quite cold, so a wetsuit is recommended. Visibility depends on water condition. The remains of a shipwreck stand outside the cave. The dive is 18 m deep.

Site of the Dutch shipwreck (Harligen- 1906). The relative depth at 25 meters and cold temperatures makes this site for experienced divers only.

Camarinha Cave is 33 meters deep and contains strong currents with limited visibility. Recommended for experienced divers only.

Part of Arvoredo Biological Reserve. One of the best scuba diving spots in Brazil, with locations for beginners as well as experienced divers. 8 to 30 meters depth and visibility is 10 m. The undersea environment includes coral, dolphins, stingrays, turtles and more.
