Municipal Park Balneário - Bonito, MS

This camping and leisure site is a great site for some remarkable snorkeling, suitable for all levels of experience. Snorkel among colorful fishes of all sizes native to the area. Balneário Park is located east of Bonito.

Bonito Aventura - Bonito, MS

Just southeast of Bonito lies Bonito Aventura, where we walk on a trail through the forest for 1.7 km (one hour) to Figueira Pier. We descend into the Rio Formoso, which, at certain points, can reach a depth of 5 meters (49'). 2 km of the river pass tight bends, sunken tree trunks and rocks. Allow three hours for this truly exciting river adventure.

Sucuri River - Bonito, MS

An easy trail leads through the woods to the source of the Rio Sucuri, situated south of Bonito. The 2 km snorkeling course lasts for about two hours. Plentiful fish will swim around you and briefly follow as you let yourself flow with the river's current. Riverine forest boasts several species of orchids. It is also possible for the more experienced to go night diving, when the fish are particularly active.

Prata River - Bonito, MS

The springs of the wild Rio da Prata, or Prata River, are reached by proceeding south from Bonito and then taking a one-hour hike on a trail through the virgin forest along the Rio Prata itself. At the springs, we can snorkel or even go in with a wetsuit. See plentiful native fish like the piraputanga, corimba, pacu and dourado. Located on the Fazenda (Ranch) Cabeceira do Prata.

Baía Bonita Ecological Park - Bonito, MS

Some of the most transparent water in the world can be found in the springs and rivers of Bonito, specifically in the Baía Bonita Ecological Park located east of Bonito itself. A 15 minute hiking trail leads through riverbank forest to the point where the Baía Bonita, Formoso and Formosinho Rivers converge. The pool formed here is called the Aquário Natural, or natural aquarium due to the abundant fish and amazingly clear water. You can free dive on a 900 meter course, where you can see hundreds of colorful fishes such as bream, blue corimba and silver/orange piraputanga. Boat rides and other amenities also available.

Pero Beach - Cabo Frio, RJ

Pero Beach is 7 km long and its fine white sand makes it a dream location to snorkel. The island nearby Pero Beach offers a variety of excellent diving where you can spot stingrays, starfish and a wide variety of fish and coral formations.

Boldró - Fernando de Noronha, PE

Boldró is located right near the highest point of Noronha, the 323 meter high Morro do Pico (Peak Hill). Extreme caution should be taken entering the water from December to February as the currents are very strong.
