A
90-day tourist visa (good for five years for US citizens) obtained
in advance is required by most visitors to Brazil. You'll need
the completed application and fee, a valid passport good for at
least six months from the date of application, two passport-sized
photos, photocopies of round-trip tickets or a letter from a travel
agency (such as us) confirming your travel booking. Check for

If you have a passport from one of this countries you don't need
a visa to Brazil : Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Bahamas, Barbado,
Belgium, Bermudas, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark,
Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy,
Liechtenstein, Morocco, Monaco, Namibia, Netherlands, Norway,
Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, San Marino, South Africa,
Spain, Surinam, Sweden, Switzerland, Trinidad and Tobago, United
Kingdon, Uruguay, Vatican and Venezuela.
